Slider Issue - jumping step

I created a slider that starts at -9 and ends at 9. The initial field is set to zero and the step field is set to 1. When I drag one click back from zero on the slider, my count indicates "-2" instead of "-1". Not sure how to fix this so the count is "-1". Attached is an SL file.

Thank you

  • Seems like a definite bug to me. It seems to act like this no matter what the values are, if there are negative values. If the step is -1, it cannot be dragged (from either direction);  to -1; if the step is 0.5, it cannot be dragged to -0.5. If the value of the variable is changed some other way, it will go to the first negative value, but cannot be dragged there.

Additionally, if the value is negative, clicking on the thumb will move it down one step. There is no corresponding movement if the value is positive.

New sliders, new slides, and new projects act the same way.

I'm certain it is a bug. you can submit a report here: https://articulate.com/support/contact

  • Hi everyone!

I have some great news to share. We just released another update for Storyline 360. In Update 75, we've included important fixes. One of the bugs we've fixed is:

    • HTML5: When moving the slider, it skips -1

Launch the Articulate 360 desktop app on your computer to take advantage of this update, and click the Update button next to Storyline 360. You'll find our step-by-step instructions here.
