Spacing issues when importing

Hey everyone,

I have a need to include a Spanish version in the courses my team develops. The best efficient way we found was to export the content into a word document and then use AI to translate it to Spanish in the brand voice needed for the company I support. 

The issue is that when we import the Spanish document back into the Storyline file, it somehow impacts the English content in the course by adding random spaces throughout. 

I know this is a very unique issue, but has anyone else experienced spacing issues when importing into Storyline? If so, do you have any solutions?

    Happy to help!

    It looks like the AI translation process might be adding spaces to the translated file. You can try translating your translation file using a different tool like Smartcat to see if the spacing issue will be replicated. If the spaces are only added when using AI translation, consider using a different method to translate your files as a way around the issue.
