Storyline Block in Rise 360 Not Saving Progress
- 3 months ago
Short answer: You can't.
Longer answer: A Storyline block will always reset when the user returns to that lesson in Rise. The Storyline "course" is an embedded set of web files in Rise. It can't send any suspend/resume data to the LMS.
Bummer, thank you!
Yeah, it is a bummer.
If the interaction is long and complicated, consider if there's a logical way to break it into smaller SL blocks. Or perhaps add a warning so users know they have to complete it in one sitting.

Thank you. The Storyline block is essentially the course. I will just add additional items & items and publish from Storyline to SCORM. I liked how it looked aesthetically in Rise. However, I can kind of replicate the look in Storyline with the player. By any chance, do you know if I can disable the <PREV and NEXT> buttons on the player within Storyline? My course has built in next and previous buttons. See attached screenshot. Again, thank you for your assistance!

In STORYVIEW, you can adjust Slide Properties for multiple slides at the same time. Just select the slides, and then adjust the properties.
The Player Properties has a setting to turn all Menu Controls on or off.
Selecting "off" turns off everything in the Player for the entire course.
