Storyline Block in Rise 360 Not Saving Progress
- 3 months ago
Short answer: You can't.
Longer answer: A Storyline block will always reset when the user returns to that lesson in Rise. The Storyline "course" is an embedded set of web files in Rise. It can't send any suspend/resume data to the LMS.
Can I utilize the player and disable the <PREV and NEXT> on the player or is that not option?
I would like to user the player so the learner can have the menu on the side BUT would like for them to use the buttons I created because they have triggers that force the learner to listen and interact before moving to the next slide.
You can just turn off the PREV and NEXT buttons. See the first part of my earlier reply for how to adjust Slide Properties for multiple slides.
That gets trickier if the quiz can be reviewed. During a Review, the program will automatically show the PREV and NEXT buttons, even though they're deselected in the Slide Properties by default on question slides.
Thus, to control those buttons during a review, you actually have to select them in Slide Properties, and then add triggers to show or hide them when needed.
