Syncing Issues - Scrubber
We cannot figure out how to fix a syncing issue on the timeline in Storyline 360. For example, we stitched together several video files, images, text, etc. all on one slide and when you play the slide in the published version and grab the "scrubber" to move back and forth on the slide to skip ahead or go back, it becomes out of sync. It's all messed up.
Our client isn't happy and this must be fixed ASAP.
Any ideas on how to fix this?

Welcome to E-Learning Heroes, Jason! ⭐️
From here, I'd recommend connecting with one of our support engineers to dig into this with you! It would be helpful to take a look at your file and test it, so feel free to share it with my team privately here, then someone will reach out soon!

The absolutely easiest step you can take is to put one video per slide. You can easily advance from slide to slide without the learner knowing; that is, if anybody cares how many slides they are seeing. Remember it's a visual medium, and the learner need only see the video, no matter how many slides they actually see.
Second, take the controls off the video. Cover it with a filled, transparent shape, so it can't be stopped by clicking. When a video is supposed to start, jump to a new slide. Start the video when the timeline on the slide starts. That way, the video timeline and the slide timeline are the same. Starting or stopping the slide timeline also starts and stops the video.
