Variable Playback Speed
We build our e-learning courses using Articulate Storyline. Recently, a number of our students have asked us if we can provide functionality of increasing the speed of the delivery, the provision that they have in Lynda courses and youtube videos.
So I was wondering there is a provision for the same in Articulate Storyline.

Hello Everyone!
I'm happy to share that we have released Storyline 360 version 72 (Build 3.72.29654.0).
Included in this release is a new feature where you can let learners explore at their own pace by choosing a course playback speed between 0.25x and 2x.
Now all you need to do is update Storyline 360 in your Articulate 360 desktop app on your computer. You'll find our step-by-step instructions here.

Thanks for your input on moving the video controls to the Storyline player properties! Currently, there are no plans to make that change. I'll be happy to pass your thoughts on to our product team, but you can also feel free to detail them in a feature request.
Hi, I would like to change the playback speed for training because a slide includes important information and Brian reads the text too fast.

Text to speech in storyline (Brian) is done with Amazon Polly

Two speed options are available to you when using SSML with Amazon Polly:

Preset speeds:
x-slow,slow,medium,fast, andx-fast. In these cases, the speed of each option is approximate, depending on your preferred voice. Themediumoption is the normal speed of the voice. -
n% of speech rate: any percentage of the speech rate, between 20% and 200% can be used. In these cases, you can choose exactly the speed you want. However, the actual speed of the voice is approximate, depending on the voice you've chosen. 100% is considered to be the normal speed of the voice.

+1, submitted feature request -- need this feature to apply to all slide types, not just video
If it will change anything, I'm adding my vote to this request as well. I recently got a 4-star review of one of my courses and the feedback said it was only because my course couldn't provide this feature.
