Why isn't the new cue showing up in the trigger window?
I created a cue on one slide, and I can't select it from another slide's trigger. Does anyone know what the problem might be?

A trigger can't act on something on another slide. The selectable options in a trigger are limited to the slide the trigger is on (other than when jumping to another slide or scene).
A typical workaround is to set a T/F variable on one slide, and then use that variable in a trigger condition on the other slide.

Here are your screenshots:
Note that the "Jump to cue point" trigger says "on this slide." In other words, it's referring to the slide the trigger is on.
- The 3 options provided in the dropdown for that trigger must be cue points on that slide.
- When there are no cue points on the slide, the Trigger Wizard will only show "Unassigned" in the dropdown.
By the way, that "Jump to cue point" trigger won't run, because it comes after a trigger that jumps to another slide. Triggers on a given slide will only run while the program is on that slide.

You could create a variable trigger and a jump-to-slide trigger. And then, on the new slide, create a Jump to Cue point when the timeline starts under the condition that the variable =?

This is getting close. Now I have to learn how to create the variable trigger.
