Articulate Review - PDF Export chinese characters not recognized

Hi everyone,

I have a Chinese course in Articulate Review and upon exporting the feedback of the reviewer, I noticed that the Chinese characters were converted to box symbols (see screenshot below). I've tried to change the text font to SimSun using acrobat pro, and I also tried to convert to word document but none of it seems to work. Upon exporting as an excel file, the texts are okay but I need a PDF or word document version.

Does anyone have a fix for this? Copying all the comments from the excel sheet to pdf/word seems to be time consuming especially if there are a lot of comments.

Hi Joyce,

Really sorry you're running into that error! Our team is looking into this problem where Chinese characters appear incorrectly when exporting comments as PDF in Articulate Review, and we've logged it as a software bug.
