Error when publishing to Review 360

May 30, 2023

Hello,

I have been publishing to Review 360. I have published 2 courses today. I tried to publish a third and received an error message. "There was an error publishing your course to review 360. Please check our internet connection and try again."

Then it says it published, but it didn't, and when I click to view it, I get a message saying storyline might close.

I have logged out of articulate and logged back in, I have renamed the file, I have restarted my computer and started it again, and the connection is the same one I am using to post this question. Is there something else I can do?

Hi Nicole!

Sorry to hear you are having trouble getting one of your Storyline 360 courses published to Review 360. I'd be happy to help troubleshoot!

I just had some clarifying questions to help me get a better idea of your setup:

If you're willing to share the project file here in the discussion or privately through a support case, I'd be happy to test it out on my end and report my findings.

Looking forward to hearing from you!

Nicole,

It looks like there were no incidents reported on May 30-31. If you experienced the issue on May 29th, maintenance was ongoing. For future reference, this link might be helpful: https://www.articulatestatus.com/

You can also click the Subscribe to Updates button on the link above to receive updates on incidents. Sometimes Review 360 becomes unresponsive or down. If you wait a bit and try it again, it works.

Have you tried importing the project into a new project and then trying to publish it to Review 360?

If multiple scenes in the course won't publish, have you tried publishing one scene to see if it works successfully?

I have heard of situations where mouse animations produce this error message.  Do you have any screen recordings with mouse movements?

After checking these items, submit a case: https://articulate.com/support/contact

I hope these help you move your project forward. I know how frustrating it can be to get stuck in the publishing loop!

Richard

Hi Valya!

Sorry to hear your colleague was having trouble publishing to Review 360. I'd be happy to work with you to figure out why that's happening!

I have a few clarifying questions to help me understand the issue a little better:

If the problem persists, we'd love to look at the .story file to see what might be causing it! Would you mind attaching it to this discussion using the Add Attachment button? If you prefer to share it privately, you can share the project in a support case. Either way, we'll take a look and share what we find!
