I'm trying to upload an M4A file in Rise 360 and am getting an error that the file type isn't recognized. The file is well under the 5 GB size limit, is stored on my desktop, and the file name has no spaces, numbers, or special characters. Does anyone know what might be causing the failed upload?
I'm having the exact same problem. I had this problem on Friday and tried again this morning, same result. Tried multiple web browsers also. Over the last few weeks I've uploaded many m4A files with no issues, and now I can't.

An M4A file is an audio file created in MPEG-4 format, a multimedia container format in which compressed audio and video data is stored. It contains audio encoded with either the AAC codec (Advanced Audio Coding) or the Apple Lossless Audio Codec (ALAC).
Thanks, the online converter worked for me. Hopefully you can get the M4A uploads working again since that's the default format that my iphone Voice Memos app uses. Converting each file online is kind of a pain.

First convert M4A-Dateien to MP4-Dateien, then just upload it.

You can convert M4A file with profi program Adobe Audition or simply try using online tools: https://online-audio-converter.com/
Alternatively, you can use Premiere pro to export M4A directly to MP4.
