Continue Buttons in Rise
Feb 05, 2021
My organization switched to Rise. If a learner starts a lesson, then closes it to finish later, is it by Design that the learner comes back to the start of a lesson and is it by design that all the Continue buttons are active again even though they have clicked on them? Is there a setting or coding that would "bookmark" a learners activity so when they return they don't have to click through all the continue buttons to get to the part where they last left?

Hi Ken,
Are you using your Rise within a LMS?
Yes, we use Moodle. and our Tech will only support SCORM 1.2
Hi Ken! A Rise course will always resume at the beginning of the last lesson viewed when a learner relaunches it. All the interactive items will be reset to their original state. However, if you’re using a continue block to progressively reveal content in your lesson, there is no need to complete the interactive items again since the content that has been unlocked in the previous session will remain open. Is this the behavior that you observed? If not, please send us a copy of your exported course, and we'd be happy to take a closer look. You can upload it privately using this link. Thanks!
