Knowledge Checks
Sep 13, 2020
Hello,
Hoping someone can help me with Articulate Rise logic.
I have created a course in Rise as follows;
Lesson 1: Content Blocks...
Lesson 2: Content Block (Multiple Choice Knowledge Check) with a Continue block underneath the Question (and possible Answers).
Lesson 3: Content Blocks...
For the Continue block underneath the Question, I have set the setting as Complete all Blocks Above. I don't want Learners progressing unless they select the correct answer. The Continue block seems to reactivate even if the Learner has selected the incorrect option.
Is there a way to keep the Continue block (inactive) until the Learner selects the correct answer at which point it becomes active and the Learner can proceed?
Many thanks in advance.
Anthony.

Hi Anthony,
Answering the Knowledge Check question sets its status to "complete", regardless if it is correct or incorrect.
Hi Karl
Thanks for the reply. So there is no way to enforce this logic. Learners can basically get answers wrong and be able to continue?
Yes.
Anthony, one way around this would be to use a Storyline block for these interactions. You'll be able to fully customize those knowledge checks, and you can fire a course complete trigger in Storyline to unlock the continue button in Rise...on your terms! Here's some help on getting that set up.
