Hello Suzie - You can duplicate lessons within a course (not duplicating courses). According to Adam here, they are looking at the ability for more course-to-course importing.
I appreciate you chiming in to share what you would like to see in Rise and I know that copying lessons across courses is a feature that we have targeted for Q4 of this year.
Yes please do this asap. I have created a practice course as well as a real course. I invent quizzes etc. in the practice course, get client approval and then have to manually recreate the whole darn thing in the real course. Cut and paste would save me hours and hours!

Thanks Adam for the feedback! We've shared this idea of copying one lesson/block in between Rise courses with our team - so we'll keep you posted on if that becomes a feature!
Just wanted to pop in and let you know that the new Block Templates are available :)
New: Build Rise courses faster by saving existing blocks and their content as templates, then reusing those templates in other lessons. And if you have an Articulate 360 Teams subscription, you can share templates with your team. Learn more about block templates.
All of our latest release notes for Rise can be found here.
Please let us know if you have any questions, we're happy to help!
I would like to be able to copy content from within a course to another one. For instance, if you make a set of flashcards or an MCQ etc. Sometimes I don't want to copy across the whole lesson, but just part of a lesson. Can this be done?
AWESOME! Thank you Articulate for adding this feature! I generally add a summary lesson at the end of large chapters/sections to get the learner to reflect on the content covered. I have found that using a carousel of key images and keynotes (captions) reiterates the points as I would in my face-2-face summary or wrapups. Well, I accidentally edited over a previous chapter's summary lesson (carousel images AND text) and thought I would have to rebuild this entire lesson again. So thank you for this feature, it has saved me many hours of rework. I also like the idea of reusing a lesson for consistency in other courses we are developing, such as reusing the overview lesson for 'Code of Conduct' (with a link to the course) or 'Respectful Workplace Behaviours' lesson (also linked to the full course). This means I can edit/update/amend one version and copy that lesson into place in all the courses that use it. So thank you from another happy user. :)

Hi Leslie
Thanks for your reply. It would be really good to see a copy/ paste type function so you can add content to other courses in the future.
Cheers
Suzie
Please, allow me to reuse content from one course in another. Thank you.
Hi Karen and welcome to E-Learning Heroes!
I hope you're loving Rise as much as we are :)

Agreed that this would be a great addition to Rise!

Is this feature available now, so that a course can be copied in Rise to create a separate course with shared content?
Hi there, Dierdre! You can copy lessons individually from one course to another. Check out the options here:

Hi,
Yes this can be done.
Use the Block Template to save one or more blocks that you want to copy.
Go to where you want to use the copied blocks and insert them from the Block Template library.
where do I find that menu?
Hi Deb,
Open your Rise course and find the Lesson that you want to copy to another course.
Move the cursor to the right of the EDIT CONTENT button for that Lesson.
Click on the three dots that appear.
A drop-down menu will open with the option to Copy to another course.

Do you know if there is a way to select more than one to Copy to another course? I am clicking on each one and copying to another course.
You can only copy one Lesson at a time to another course.
