Is there a way to edit the metadata on an embedded video? I exported a course and translated it but when I imported it back, there were some spacing issues on the metadata of my video.
There’s no way to edit the metadata pulled from the embedded link in Rise. After further investigation, it does seem that, for some links, the metadata is included in the export for translation, which sounds like what happened in your situation. In that case, you’d need to fix any formatting issues directly in the XLIFF file.
If you're still having issues, please reach out to our Support Team so they can take a look. You can submit a case here.
Let me know if there's anything else I can do to help. :)
Thank you Allison. Unfortunately, we cannot share our files. The .xlf file had given my whole team grief that nobody would dare touch it. We're looking for an alternative tool for materials like this.
The only way to edit the translated metadata besides modifying it at the source URL is to edit the XLIFF file. Another option would be to uncheck the metadata box, so no metadata is shown.

HI Allison. Unchecking the metadata is the best option at this point.
Thank you.
