Editing RISE Course CSS/Web Elements ("Cracking the Code")

Apr 16, 2020

Hi, what options do we have to edit or customize the CSS/web elements within a RISE course using a web development tool such as Adobe Dreamweaver or Microsoft Visual Studio? Are there any available resources on how to do this also? My team is interested in making a RISE course more brand-specific, such as adding different icons for the progress bar, removing the lesson banners at the top of each section, adding images in the course description, etc. Thanks.

You must download the zip course made with Rise. Then unzip it in your PC.

Open the folder and change the CSS with Visual Studio Code. Zip it again and upload the modified Zip file to Rise.

My recommendation is to add the plugin "Live Server"  in your Visual Studio Code so you can see the changes in real time in your browser.

I'll let you know how it went for me :-)
