Embedded URL reverts to home page

Jan 30, 2024

I am trying to link to an online library search with pre-set terms/filters. I have created an alias that when I open in any Browser, produces the results I would like (e.g. Library search with filter for 'images' pre-set).

I have entered this alias in the embed code of an accordion item. However, this doesn't seem to stick when I click on the embedded item in 'Preview' mode. The link re-directs to the parent home page of the library with no search filters specified. The same is true if I use the URL with search terms as opposed to the alias.

This issue is not something I can replicate in another platform (e.g. email), so I'm wondering if it's something Articulate Rise is doing in the background. Any suggestions?

Hello Tara,

I'm sorry you've hit this snag with the accordion block; I'm happy to help!

Can you share the alias as well as the URL you're using? I'd like to conduct some tests to provide better recommendations. If you prefer to share the information privately, here's a secure upload link. Either way, we'll take a look and share what we find!
