I've built a course on Articulate Rise, and I made a exit course too, but somehow it doesn't work on Chrome. And if I close the window, the course isn't recorded/ saved when I open it again.
The latest Chrome I'm using, and when I click on the exit course button, nothing happens. It works on my Chrome, but it doesn't work on other person's Chrome.
This course is scormed and uploaded on LMS, but the exit button doesn't work there. Do you reckon it is the LMS's problem? Not Rise Articulate? Because it works on my LMS, but on someone else's LMS, it doesn't work at all. It is so weird.
It could be related to your LMS. An easy way to find out is to test it in another LMS environment, like SCORM Cloud. You can create a free account and test there, or I'd be happy to help you with that testing!
Simply attach your LMS output folder to a new reply, and I'll take care of the rest.
Glad to hear it's working there, Joe! It sounds like there may be a setting in the LMS that isn't allowing the Exit Course function to work - so next I'd reach out to your LMS team for more help! We are using our Rise Courses in a LMS and the learner must use the EXIT course button to save their session progress data.
In our case if they simply close the course window instead of using the EXIT button it will not save the learner progress.

What happens in Chrome when you click on the Exit Course button? Also, what version of Chrome are you using?
Karl is correct that if you've enabled that, you'll need to use that function to close the course and send the status to your LMS.
