My learners have requested that I make modules available to download - easy. But is there a way to change the formatting when they are exported? I have several pages where the content has been split between pages and single pages where there is only a couple of lines of text.

There are no options when exporting a course to PDF.
That means we are stuck with the awkward page breaks as your example illustrates.
