Heading covers image
Nov 22, 2017
Hi all
I was after some help with the main heading in Rise. Is there a way you can force it to spread over two lines? Hitting Enter doesn't work, neither does Tab. I tried holding down the space bar to force text to go to the second line which works ... but when you preview this it doesn't.
As per below, the text covers the face and I know I could alter the image but then I lose other important parts. Any ideas? Perhaps some kind of character that shows up as transparent which will force the fill of the top line?
Here's my "before and after":

I'm having this issue to. It would be great to find out more.
Hi Fiona and Michael,
Great question - the title is going to wrap different based on the device used so that's why it isn't locked into a particular line set up. Take a look at a quick recording I did of this text and previewing from desktop to mobile portrait.
Thanks for that Ashley, makes sense :)
Hi, it would be nice if there was a text editor for the main header, such as being able to change the size and color.
The page headers cannot be customised either - is there a reason for this?
Hi Dorrien,
The font colors are set automatically, but we did just release custom fonts to Rise which would allow you to use more font options. Take a look at the information here.
Changing colors and overall sizing of the title would be another good feature request, which can always be submitted right here. 😁
