Image style parameters for multimedia embed

I'm trying to embed images via my team's digital asset management platform, using a direct URL link to each asset, rather than having to upload images to Rise.
I've attached a screenshot of a successful test embed below, but it seems like I'm limited to left aligned images if they're used in this way.
Is there any way to manipulate the render size, alignment, etc. for link-embedded images, in the way you'd be able to manipulate a traditional image block?
