I am trying to import a Storyline 360 project, into Rise 360. The SL project is a video with closed captions I manually entered into SL. I've exported to Review 360 and then added to Rise from there. Problem is I loose the closed caption button, but it's not consistent. Sometimes when you click the course lesson the CC is there and other times not.
What am I missing? Or is this just something that doesn't work the way I want it too?
Well, the challenge it is visible sometimes and not others. The closed caption button is visible in SL consistently. This happens in Review 360 and Rise 360 - you can click the video and the closed caption button will be there and click on the video a second time and it is not or vice versa. I'm thinking there must be something in the export from SL causing the issue but I'm not sure what.
I've tried Firefox and Chrome (both are updated to the most recent version).
I've also posted the issue to customer support as I am needing a "fix" if that's the situation fairly quickly.
Thank you for the update, Sheila! Smart idea to open a support case. I see that Gerald has already been in contact with you, and it looks like he logged this as a software bug. I'm really sorry for the headaches this has caused you! We'll let you know if we get any new information that will help.
Hi Kimberly, I am happy to see that you are working with Jose, one of our support engineers. It looks like he sent you an email asking for screenshots and some steps to try.
Thank you for posting, Chino! Yes, I am working with Jose. He was unable to duplicate the issue and this morning, when I went to grab screenshots for the case, I found that the CC option now displays in the three browsers I tested (Chrome, Edge, and IE) - whereas it only displayed in IE yesterday. Anyway, the issue is resolved, but not clear reason as to why it happened in the first place.
I am experiencing the problem today in SL. When I preview the CC button is missing, when I publish it's missing in the LMS but if I open the SL.html it's there. I have removed and added the text twice now and started from scratch. Not sure how to proceed.

Hi Sheila!
Did you notice the closed captions button was missing when you previewed the course in Rise 360, or after it was published?
Also, what web browser were you using when this happened?

Has there been a resolution found for this issue? I'm having the same problem.

Hi Dawn! Sounds like you're having trouble with a Storyline 360 course. This thread's original author was having trouble with an SL Block in Rise 360.
Could you please open up a case here and share a copy of your course with us so we can take a look?
Thank you Renz, I'll open a ticket today.
