I set up a knowledge check, but I don't see an option in settings to force that learners do the before moving on. I've restricted navigation but a user is able to go by the knowledge check on on to the next section. How do I fix this?
Use a continue block to require learners to complete knowledge check questions before moving on.
Just insert a continue block from the blocks shortcut bar just below the knowledge check block, then choose a Completion Type to determine how the continue block behaves.
It is a pity that this feature isn't a priority. When inserting a knowledge check, it is to ensure that you are testing for learner understanding, the fact that you can get it wrong and just moves on seems to be a bit silly. Fingers crossed this does become a priority.
Any update regarding this? I am facing the same issue and was very surprised about it not being possible, since, as Amy rightfully said, knowledge checks are meant to allow the learner to stop and reflect on what they have gone through, so being able to "force" them to get it right before moving on would be highly beneficial.
Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts with us. I've gone ahead and added both of your voices to this feature request. We’ll update this discussion if this feature makes it on our feature roadmap.
You can do this. I have been doing this as a work around. Make sure to put a trigger onto the success slide that marks course complete when timeline starts on this slide…. So that the divider on rise unlocks if you have it set it to unlock when block above is complete 👍

Hey Jacob!

Not sure if it is possible, but can you make it to where the learner has to get the correct answer to proceed to the next block?
Hi,
The Continue block only requires the learner to answer the question, not to provide the correct answer.
Hi Team,
Any luck with Mewael question? I am looking for a solution for the same.
Hi Vishnu,
For a knowledge check, it is not possible to force the learner to get the correct answer before proceeding to the next block.
Is the knowledge check slide the same thing as the Survey Question slide?
Hi Robyne,
Rise does not have a Survey Question block.
Are you using Storyline?
Is it possible for the feature mentioned above to be implemented? It would be greatly helpful.
Hi Adam! This isn't something on our immediate roadmap, but we'll let you know if we add it in the future!

I agree, this would be helpful to have in Rise... the ability to have them 'try again' like they do in the scenario, for the Knowledge Check.

Hope to see this feature in Rise soon!
Any updates on this. I agree with Alessandra!

I am facing the same problem. Hope for an update soon! :)
Yes I agree it would be useful to have a feature that ensures learner gets it correct before scrolling through!
Hello Ida and Julia,
Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts with us. I've gone ahead and added both of your voices to this feature request. We’ll update this discussion if this feature makes it on our feature roadmap.
Have a wonderful afternoon!
What if you make it a Storyline quiz block?

I am facing the same issue. I want to restrict movement till the learner gets the correct answer. Please have this feature added!
