It looks like the course description does not get saved to metadata file when publishing to scorm package. This is technically not wrong, however it does add and extra step when publishing to an LMS. I do not want to encourage my team to start modifying the manifest or metadata files. Is there another way to workaround or is there a planned update from Articulate team?
Thank you,
It looks like the title is in the manifest. However just like description,
it is not saved metadata file. this also causes a problem with LMS looking
for both title and descy in metadata but not finding it :(
Rise seema to provide basic support for lms publishing, so not really the
tool to use if our training is going to be hosted on non Articulate
platform.
What is the case for continuing use for Rise in such a case? Other
Articulate tools support HTML5, 360 teams allow collaboration.

Hi Divya,
Thanks for reaching out to us.
You’re correct - the course description is not included in the metadata.
If having this ability is something that would improve your experience using Rise you can submit a feature request here.
If I can help with anything else please reach out.
