I have seen a few Rise courses that have an audio clip at the top and then the text below and the audio clip reads the text below. Is this another software that this is being done in or is it an option in Rise to create. If it's another source creating it, do people have recommendations for text to speech programs?
Add a multimedia audio block as the first block in your lesson. You can record your own audio, or import an audio file from your computer.
Next, add a paragraph block, and insert the text there. I've even seen examples where people use an accordion block to hold the text. It takes up less space, and learners can open the accordion if they want to read along with the audio.
Very helpful thank you!! Just to verify, Rise itself can not do the text to speech for me I would need to create this audio file elsewhere and then upload it in?

Hi Shelbey, great question!

I hope that sparks some ideas!

Thanks for help!
That's correct, Shelbey. Happy to help!
HI team,
Is there any time limit for audio block in Rise? I can see that it limits to 2.58 min.
What if my audio block is longer than 2.58?
Thank you for your comments
Hello, Jolie!
The 2:58 timestamp you see on the Rise Audio block is not a limit, but it's the length of the sample audio file.
Rise shouldn't have a time limit for audio files, so please let us know if you run into any trouble when uploading!
