We're hosting Rise SCORM packages in our LMS where we have used Storyline Blocks to insert assessments. Experiencing intermittent issues with 'completion' status not updating in LMS.
Should we be using the 'Passed/Incomplete' or 'Complete/Incomplete' setting when exporting from Rise?
When publishing for LMS, we recommend choosingPassed/Incomplete or Passed/Failed. These options are most likely to record both completion and success statuses in your LMS. You might see an unknown success status in your LMS until learners complete the course, then the status usually changes to Passed/Failed.
However, each LMS interprets data differently. If your LMS isn’t reporting the statuses you expect, I suggest using SCORM Cloud as a baseline for testing LMS output.
