Remove labels that are not needed

We're running into a challenge where we have an introductory lesson (lesson 1), followed by the first module (lesson 2). When published the introduction displays as Module 1 of X, and Module 1 displays as Module 2 of X. This can be confusing seeing 'Module 2 of X' right next to the title Module 1. We would rather not have to revert to changing the label to 'Lessons' as then it will still say 'Lesson 2 of X' next to the title 'Module 1' e.g:

If anything, we'd rather it not say "'Lesson/Module' X 'of' Y" at all. Is there anyway to turn off a particular label? Or another workaround?
