Hi … I would like to use the Process Interaction without identifying the step numbers. In Settings you can change the Step Label, but it still keeps the number. Is there a way to delete the step number?
You can edit the step label by hovering over the block and clicking the Settings button. Add a space in the step label field to leave it blank. However, there isn't a way to remove the number. The number will remain even if the step label is blank.
I see many other people have requested this. I'm hoping this is implemented too. I want to remove the numbers not just the word step. This would allow the carousel to be used for other purposes. Right now it is restrictive to a sequence. Processes sometimes aren't sequential but each part of the process needs to be explained. Now I have to build this in Storyline instead of Rise just to avoid the numbers.
Overall, a feature request Rise-wide would seem to be something like "Make any interaction such that users can scrub it down to bare basics" so that we can use things in creative ways. This one is a great example. To really leverage design we need to have a bare bones version of whatever it is, with the options to add the other things like "Step 1" or whatever.
This would be useful for me too. I'm trying to figure out a work-around at the moment. It's great that we can edit the step headings, but I really don't always want the numbers.
Sharing a workaround that some community members have used: You can use a gallery carousel block to demonstrate a sequence of information. The captions accept text formatting to create a heading and body look!
Man... does Articulate actually listen to this feedback??
I can see so many pages where people are requesting really basic improvements, sometimes for years. I don't understand why Articulate seems to be so unresponsive tbh.
As a newcomer it's really confusing and pretty underwhelming.
Thanks Crystal but using the carousel block isn't really an effective workaround; the images are too large and by adding a caption, the text is too small and insignificant.

Just sent this in as a feature request.

I completely agree with Christine and all who have mentioned the need to remove the numbers and add what works best for our client.
Adding my voice here. I already posted a new discussion since nothing came through before I saw this post. Hopefully we will get the feature soon.
I would really like to see this feature implemented as well. Please give us a way to remove the numbers.

Adding my voice as well. ANother useful feature add would be the ability to add images to the sorting interaction.
