Restrict browser navigation in Rise

Jan 10, 2023

Hi

I have restricted navigation in rise by removing the sidebar, restricting navigation and using buttons to progress forward. At the end of the module I want a knowledge check and I don't want a user to be able to check back through the content during the knowledge check - as I have locked down navigation they can't do this through the rise module navigation, however they can just click forwards and backwards in the browser window, which defeats the whole locking down of the navigation. Is there anyway to stop this i.e. if a user leaves the knowledge check this count as an attempt?

Many thanks

Paul

Hi there, Paul. Circling back to your question - There isn't a way within Rise 360 to restrict the browser behavior. If you're hosting your content in an LMS, you may have some additional navigation settings that you can enable, especially if your course opens in a new window. In that case, sometimes there are no browser buttons at all in the new window.
