When a course is edited by someone other than the original author, and they publish in "review" status, does Rise 360 enter the editor's name in the "created by" field?
No, the original Author's name is always displayed as the default author. If this has changed, a collaborator has changed this. Anyone can change the author that displays in the published course. Just click the Author drop-down list and choose one of the collaborators or hide the author altogether.
Is there a way to add custom text to the author field? Rather than a specific person, I'd like to enter a department name. Only choices from the drop-down are me as the author or to hide the field.
There is currently no way to add custom text to the area near the author field. The only two options available are the ones you've already pointed out, which are to display the name of the author or to hide it.

Hope that clarifies things!
Is it possible to change the name of the "created by" or author to a company name vs a person?
Hi Meno Collective,
Your only choices are to display the name of the author or nothing at all.
