Was viewing a course I built in rise on my android phone and when I got to the sort activity I was unable to select the title with the song title to move it. When I tried to select it the entire course seemed to shift up or down.
Here is the link to the course - it appears to work fine when viewing on desktop and the last time I checked it was working on my iPad Pro.
A few colleagues helped test their on their Android phones running 6.0.1 and 5.0.1 and saw the same thing as you described where the course shifts when trying to drag the items. I'm going to report this to our QA team to dig into a bit deeper into the issue. I'll keep you posted here. :-)
I tested on my own Rise courses with a quote block and a photo, but my photo background color doesn't change. If you're able to share a copy of this image with us Nancy I can take a look at it and see what else may be causing the behavior for you!
Thanks ins p - I'm looking to see the image you have inserted of the red maple leaf that Nancy had in her course - we'll wait to see if she's able to share that with us.
Thanks Nancy for sharing the image - I'm able to replicate the same thing with that image in IE11 (displayed normally in Chrome, Firefox, Safari), so I'm going to share it with our team to take a look.
Depending on priority and risk, some bugs can be fixed quickly, while others take longer to resolve. Here's more information on how we identify and tackle bugs. And they may spot something that'll determine it's not a bug as well.
Either way I’ll let you know as soon as we have an update on this issue. Thanks so much again for letting us know about this, and I’m sorry if it’s slowing you down.
