Rise for Web Design

Apr 19, 2017

Hello, I am designing a website using Rise for my company and have a few questions:

1. Is there a way to customize the top portion of the Rise page and include a horizontal menu bar? Or just remove it altogether?

2. Is there a way to add 'hot spots' on top of images?

3. Can the 'cover' page be removed or hidden?

Thanks,

Carolina

Hi Carolina!

Cool that you're designing a website using Rise, I hope you're able to share it once done!

1. The Rise menu to navigate between lessons or blocks is set to appear on the left side in the vertical format you see now. I could see how a menu that appeared across the top horizontal would look like a standard website.

2. What would you want the hotspots to do? If you could share how you want to use them, I can point you in the right direction!

3. Have you looked at linking directly to the first lesson? That would allow you to bypass that cover page. Here's an example of what that would look like.

Let me know how else I can help!
