Rise Issue and Android

Our company is moving to a new LMS, and we are doing testing. Rise is not something we have used before, but my Division would like to. So we are working with the LMS team to test Rise. We loaded both a SCORM and AICC version of Rise. Both versions had the same issue with Android devices. After launching the package – blank screen w/ only the “X” in the top corner. Apple devices work without issue.
But in SCORM Cloud everything works fine.

New products are fun, but sorry to hear that you ran into a hiccup when trying it out.
So the same output file, when uploaded to SCORM Cloud, works as expected on the same Android devices?
I would follow up with the LMS team on this comparison as you're testing and learning. You may also want to take advantage of the debug mode while testing and you can check those directions out here.
