Rise360: Storyline blocks not working in publish for Web

Jun 14, 2023

Hello,

We have published a Rise course for Web. It contains storyline blocks. When previewed in Articulate, they work/appear fine.

When loaded to the content server/web server, the storyline blocks do not appear. They show as an iFrame error, pointing the user to a 'not found' error on the website that hosts it.

Has anyone experienced a similar issue like this? Is there a certain way to load the published for web content / content path for Storyline blocks?

Hi Katie,

Have you tried publishing your Storyline file to Review 360 and then inserting it as a Storyline block?  Are you able to view the block if done this way?

If you are hosting the Storyline file on a web server, are you able to view the URL by itself?

You can share with us the link where the Storyline is hosted so we can check it out.  If you prefer it to be private, you can open a case with us, and we'll be happy to investigate it.

Yes, the storyline file is published to Review 360. Then the activity is inserted into Rise using the Storyline Block feature.

When I preview the Rise, it works as expected.

The issue the team is running into is, when we export the Rise to web > upload to the content server > the storyline blocks are not working there. Instead of showing the storyline activity, there is nothing / there's an iframe error, pointing the user to a error not found on the website it is hosted on.
