You make it sound really easy to translate Rise files: export – translate – import.
However, I'm a professional translator with ample experience in translating XLF files and the latest version of the industry standard translation tool RWS Studio. If I open an XLF exported from Rise in Studio for translation, it shows up empty.
I'm not that familiar with RWS Studio, but in checking their website, I believe they are using Trados. Is that correct? If so, I know we have clients using Trados to translate Rise courses. Strange that you are showing a file that is empty when opening the XLF files in Trados. Is the same thing happening if you open the file in a text editor (like Notepad)?
If you are using the expected content, do you mind sharing your file privately with our team so that we can check it? We'll delete your file once we are done and reach out to you as soon as we have finished investigating your case.
