Translation ?

Hello, as far as the translation procedure is concerned, I have 3 questions:
1. The documents to be translated are in XLIFF file format, aren't they?
2. To translate the RISE course from French to English I have to have a "web application, computer program, or professional translation service" to be able to use the XLIFF file? Is that it?
If so, which web application, computer program should have the person in charge of translations?
... This is the first time I've been asked to translate a course ...

Yes, exporting a Rise 360 for translation results in an XLIFF file. An XLIFF file is a special XML file commonly used for translating content.
You'll want to use a web app, computer program, or professional translation service to edit your XLIFF file. While we don't have specific tools that we recommend, I'll open the floor to the community to share their recommendations with you.
Don't forget to duplicate the course first before translating it. The duplicate you create will become the translated course. If you’re not sure how to make a duplicate, check out these instructions.

HI. I have a follow up question. If using a translation service, how would we share the "native Articulate file" of the copied course so they could import the XLIFF file back in for us? Thanks

Hi Ann! Ideally the translation service would send you the translated XLIFF file, and you would import it back into your Rise 360 duplicate course.
If you wanted the translation service to import the XLIFF file, they would need access to Rise 360, and you could send a copy of the course to them for importing.
