New Rise features: collaboration and publish courses to Articulate Review

Aug 29, 2017

Hi everyone,

We’ve just added some cool new features to Rise and I wanted to give you a quick overview.

Collaboration: Now you can collaborate with other Articulate 360 Teams users on Rise courses, creating and editing different lessons at the same time, or you can take turns. All the changes you and your collaborators make happen in real time, so everyone always works on the most recent version of the course. Check out this video from CTO Arlyn Asch for more details.

Publish Rise courses to Articulate Review: Everyone’s favorite review tool is now available for Rise! Easily gather consolidated feedback from your project team and stakeholders. Just click on Review and Publish. Check out this quick video from Arlyn to see this new duo in action.

And there are more cool features coming soon, such as Rise folders and Storyline blocks! See what’s new and what’s on its way on our What’s New, What’s Next page.

I noticed in Trina's original post there was no mention of the folder/project organization feature that was highlighted by Arlyn in his video between 43 and 54 seconds.

Love the other features rolled out, but should we expect to see the folders options rolled on in the next few days or am I missing something obvious?

Thanks!

Karin, you'll be able to use your Storyline content—including quizzes—in a Rise blocks lesson, but the Storyline specific quiz score and question data will not be reported to your LMS. We're continuously exploring new features and customer input is extremely valuable in that process. If you’d like to chime in with your feedback on this, please share your thoughts with us through a feature request.

Hi Veronica. While you're not currently able to lock specific content or lessons from being edited by a team collaborator, nor are you able to specify editing privileges for team collaborators, we are paying close attention to customer input. I hope you'll take a few moments to share your thoughts with us through a feature request

Hi Kelly. I'm so sorry to hear that you're disappointed with the new features we've rolled out. From your comment, it's not entirely clear to me which feature isn't working for you. I've checked with our support team and it doesn't look like we have any open support cases for you at the moment. It also looks like we've been able to resolve a few other issues for you in the past, so I hope you'll give us a chance to take a closer look at this one.
