We’ve got some exciting news to share! A new Community Member just joined the Articulate team—Sarah Hodge. If Sarah’s name sounds familiar, it’s probably because you’ve seen some of the amazing work she’s shared in the community, like this impressive and potentially life-saving course on how to fight a bear or this beautifully designed template that puts a creative spin on the classic Mad Libs game. Needless to say, we’re thrilled to have her here with us!

Sarah has spent the bulk of her career in instructional design and e-learning, working in a variety of industries. She’s passionate about learning and helping people, which makes her a perfect fit for the Articulate team. When Sarah isn’t developing awesome training, you’ll find her kayaking, playing games with her family, and indoor kart racing. She’s also been known to write the occasional guitar song about churros.

All that to say, welcome to the team, Sarah! Feel free to leave your own best wishes in the comments below.

And yet another "welcome aboard!" Here's a suggestion that would help immediately: Can you provide a way to make the community emails delivered as a daily digest? I can manage one or two emails throughout the day but have just spent the last 4 hours wading through the mass of messages and postings from the weekend. While I am new to Articulate (and therefore spent the time to review many of these individual threads), having a "daily digest" would certainly help cut down on the volume. (Yes, I could create a rule in my inbox to move everything to "Articulate Discussions" but then I rarely go back and read those mailboxes anyway, thus defeating the purpose of a regular community discussion.) With all the technical advancements and updates from Usenet days (remember that?!) , I would just t... Expand

Hi Joe! I'm sorry you're feeling overwhelmed by all the messages you're getting from E-Learning Heroes. When you reply to an article or a discussion, you're automatically subscribed to that thread, which is why you're getting those emails. If you want to unsubscribe from a thread, simply click on the "subscribe" button at the top of the post as shown in this GIF: https://sharing.articulate.team/JrubevP6 If you go to your ELH profile page and click on the Subscriptions tab, you can uncheck the auto-subscribe option and/or delete any threads that you no longer want to be subscribed to: https://sharing.articulate.team/GGuk58Pq If you still want to receive those replies but don't want them cluttering up your inbox, another idea would be to set up a filter in your email client so th... Allison: Thanks for the follow-up note. I am already filtering the emails from SL360 and the rest of the community, but I am still puzzled why Articulate does not have a "daily digest" or "most active topics this week" option for the community discussions. I've relied heavily on many such community user forums in the past for all types of software, and hands-down, the most useful forums were those which allowed me to receive a daily or weekly update... I get the subscribed vs bookmarked options, and in fact, have tried to reduce my "subscription" chains to things that are immediately useful (as opposed to, "Hmm, that would be an interesting problem to solve during a quarantine period sometime..."). Even so, there's still a lot of daily posts coming in that I don't read, and I am sure th... Expand
