I’m using Engage Process Interaction and each step includes audio and a picture. We don’t want the interaction to advance by itself nor do we want to end each audio with ‘click next button when you’re ready to move on’-type verbiage. Is there any way to highlight the next step button to let the user know the information (audio) for this step is completed and it is OK to move to the next step when they are ready?
Yes, you can customize the "next slide" of your interaction by going to Interaction Properties and selecting the Playback tab. Then, once your presentation is set to Interactive, you can enter your customization next to the Show start tip check box.
After a closer read of your question, I see you were hoping to find a way to "highlight the next step button". While there isn't a way to do that at this time, it makes for a good feature request. Give it a shot here: http://www.articulate.com/support/contact/feature/

Here's the tutorial I found: http://community.articulate.com/tutorials/products/customizing-the-quot-click-next-to-continue-quot-tooltip.aspx
Hope that's helpful!
