I am developing an Engage file. I have an instruction text: "Click here to open a tutorial." Clicking "here" should open up a PDF in an external window. Can anyone please help me suggesting the exact path (/data...??) that I can use when I click the Hypelink button in Engage files.
Articulate Engage '13 lets you hyperlink to other steps in the same interaction, web pages, and email addresses. However, file hyperlinks aren't currently supported. See this article for more information and a recommendation.
Thanks Leslie. Based on my requirements, I tried something and it worked.
In Engage - I hyperlinked a word to a PDF and the link to which the PDF is linked is just the name of the PDF. Upon publishing the course, add the PDF to the output folder. Launch it and it works!!!

Shivani,
Where in the output folder did you add the pdf? Just the root or in the external files folder? Trying to make this work for one of my courses.
Hi Shivani,
I receive the following error message whenever I try to identify the link as the name of the pdf. Am I doing something incorrectly?
(The url you entered appears to be invalid. Please enter a valid url.)
Thanks in advance.
