Had a good question today from an Engage user. She asked:
"I'm trying to create a new engage activity by picking up a process starting with step 12 versus step 1. Is there any way for me to change the steps in the tabs to start with 12?"
Right now there isn't a turn-key way to modify the starting step number on a Process interaction in Engage '09. But! You could get resourceful with a different interaction, such as a Timeline interaction, and use that to display your content in a linear way instead. Here's an example:
o me the Timeline interaction seemed an especially good fit in Karen's situation, since it has a linear/horizontal feel similar to a Process interaction. But I love the idea of mixing things up with a different type of interaction as you've shown. A Tabs interaction might be a nice solution too. Or even use a Labeled Graphic with an image of your choosing, and insert numbered markers, starting with 12, for the step detail....

Thanks Jeanette.
I've used the timeline before, just not for a process.
Hadn't thought about using it in that way.
Take care,
Karen
Presumably you could pretty much use any interaction if you wanted?

Yes definitely Bruce! I like your circle example.
