Wrong interaction opens when I attempt to edit the interaction

Jan 17, 2014

I am getting ready to upload some courses to our LMS. As I was doing a final review, I discovered that when I try to edit an interaction, at least one of them opens the wrong interaction.  This worries me because it is a pretty big course and I don't know how prevalent the problem is. It has also been a while (several months) since I've used Engage. Can anyone give me some guidance on this?

Thanks.

Hi there Melinda,

Could you let us know which version of engage you're using, please? Is it '09 or '13?

Also, please make sure that you're working with local project files:

  • Work on your local drive (your C: drive). Working on a network drive or a USB drive can cause erratic behavior, including file corruption, loss of audio, and other unexpected behavior.
  • You should also make sure the directory path to your project files and your published output is less than 260 characters (for example C:\Articulate).
  • Avoid using special characters, accents or symbols in your file names (this includes spaces and underscores).

Additional information regarding "Naming Files, Paths, and Namespaces" in Windows operating systems can be found in the following Microsoft article.

Let me know if you're already working locally, or if you move your project to your local hard drive and still don't see the correct interactions.

Thanks!
