I'm adding a video to my Articulate Presenter course from a file, and after I choose to have the video display in browser (my client wishes to view in full screen mode versus the fixed course dimensions), I can not check the checkbox for show video controls - it disable as soon as I select "Show video in new browser window:. This means, the video will open and play in a browser, but can't pause, or move forwards/back. This is necessary - any solutions? Is there something wrong with my current version Articulate?
I'm working with Articulate Studio 2013, Update 2: 1402.2817
This is expected behavior. If you need to have the video controls, you will need to display this in-slide or insert a flash file that will play independently.
I am having the same issue and I see this is an older post, I was wondering if the submit feature request was succesful? or if you have any updates in regards to this.

Hi Jacqueline!

Here is the tutorial for reference.
Ok, so open in new window is good for desktop courses which can run flash, though not for mobile courses... any thoughts on this?
Hi Jacqueline!
If you need the video controls, then display in-slide. Otherwise you will not have the video controls as you mentioned above.
If you would like to submit a feature request that will go to our developers, you are welcome to do so here.
Thanks Leslie, I submitted a request.
Cheers,
Jacqueline

Hi Mariajose!
The tutorial shared above still stands. I have no update on the status of feature requests.
You are welcome to share your thoughts with our product development team here.
Thanks for your quick reply Leslie.
Is a big shame to not have controls on videos outside the slide.
