We have some pretty standard animated images in our powerpoint. However, when they are published they appear out of place on the screen. When I return to the powerpoint there is nothing to fix.
Please be sure to include a description of your issue, your version of PowerPoint, version of Windows and version of Presenter '09 which you can find in Help and Support -> About Articulate Presenter. Please also include the URL for this thread so we can follow up with you in the forums.
If you want to let me know what the case number is I'll be happy to take a look at your files for you.
I've also seen images appear in the wrong place when using Fade. No idea how or why it happens. Some images just seem to offset by X and Y pixels regardless of what you do. The only resolution we found was to move the image on the slide to offset the offset.
Have also seen images shrink even when no animation is used.

Would be great to post the resolution here... I've also ran into this problem before, however I can't say I have any presentations I am currently working on that I am having issues with.
I still dont see a resolution to this. And this is a YEAR OLD. It is driving me crazy. I have a screen image and I have a button that gets lighted APPEAR on top of the image over top of the button that is not lit. This is not rocket science. It looks fine in PP yet Articulate keeps shrinking the appearing button. I have a large training PP and I have spent most of the time trying to stop Articulate from moving stuff all over the place. I still dont know the trick and I am about delete the whole thing and go with video.
I have, I am using APPEAR and DISSAPEAR. Kinda standard. Tried Fade, no luck. I'll submit and see what you think.
Is there an issue that the background immage is RESIZED in PP? And I am actually looking at it right now in PREVIEW and even with NO animation the button image is smaller.
Sean, I had a similar issue caused by PPT not liking grouped images in slide layouts. Generally they would shrink. The answer is usually to unroup them. Worth a try if your issue is on slide layouts.
Thanks for the pointer Simon but I am not using grouped images, I simply have one picture and another appear on top of it to simulate a button lighting up. It is really driving me crazy. And to further compound the problem it all looks perfect in PP but when I preview it in Articulate the image either shrinks or grows.
Thanks for sending us the files. Curious to know if the suggested solution worked for you:
As the objects in your slide are not displayed properly in your end, kindly check if you are using a large DPI setting. Articulate applications are not currently supported using a large DPI setting. If you are using 120 DPI some symptoms are:
- Elements of the application appear misplaced or distorted. - The Preview displays misplaced or distorted elements. - The published output is distorted or does not display correctly. - Annotations do not line up correctly when you publish or preview. - Logo does not display correctly.
You can resolve this issue by following the steps outlined in the corresponding Knowledge Base article.

Hi Ashleigh and welcome to the forums! The first thing I would do is make sure that you are using supported animations:

If you are and are still having issues, I would suggest you submit a case by following the steps below.
Please create an Articulate Presenter package, then upload the zip file to our server. You can review how to do this here:

Upload the resulting zip file from your computer to our server using this upload form:

Double weird.
