When I open Sync Animations, the Annotations feature has stopped working. I can successfully sync animations. This happens on multiple presentations, and I have repaired both ArticulateStudio 09 and MS Office 2007.
What might be the cause? Thanks for your prompt help...I have deadlines looming.
Hi, Brian. I did all tasks successfully as you instructed, but still cannot add any annotations. Repaired Articulate again. Can another program be interfering? I've been able to use this tool many times before. -Jill
Hi Jill. I would suggest submitting a case and let me know what the case number is and I'll be happy to arrange a complimentary web conference with one of my senior support engineers for you:
My issue is solved! I could add annotations if I was logged into my admin profile, but not in my regular user profile. Changing the setting in Powerpoint to "always run as administrator" or actually running it as administrator did not help. I had repaired Office 2007, and had uninstalled and reinstalled Articulate.
I finally uninstalled Office 2007, and installed Office 2010 (I was going to upgrade soon anyway). It still did not allow me to add annotations when logged into my user account. I changed PPT settings to "Always run as administrator"...VOILA! The annotations feature works as it should when logged into my regular user account.

Also, there are no disabled Add-ins showing in PowerPoint Options.
