Any help appreciated! Presenter disappeared from ppt & video prob
May 22, 2011
I have two problems; the first one listed being the most pressing. Any help would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks so much. Kimberly
#1. Articulate Presenter '09 now not showing in ppt. Have been using the software for over a week with no problems. The Presenter ppt. on which I had been working had "frozen"/. I used task mgr to close ppt. When re-open the ppt (or any ppt)., the slides are there but Articulate is not.
#2. Prior to my Articulate Presenter '09 disappearing, having a problem with a video not playing. Had included a video as first slide in a Presenter '09 presentation that I had published as a web file...then zipped for upload to a host. Video will not play after it is uploaded to host nor will it play as a preview in Presenter. It will play in ppt. outline view.
Thanks so much for any help!!!! Kimberly

Hi Kimberly
Dealing with your first problem, what version of PowerPoint are you using? This may or may not help. Click on Office Button > PowerPoint Options > Add-Ins and then down the bottom Manage: select Disabled Items and that should allow you to re-enable Articulate.

You may have heard the huge sigh of relief I just expressed! I was able to enable Articulate following your directions. I cannot express my gratitude! Kimberly
When I try to preview my Presenter ppt - it is "freezing" (continuous hourglass icon). Is there anything I can do about this? Thanks so much. Kimberly
Getting the "...has experienced serious problem with Articulate add-in ribbon..." message
Hi Kimberly,
You may encounter the following error message when working with PowerPoint:
"PowerPoint experienced a serious problem with the 'articulate presenter ribbon' add-in. If you have seen this message multiple times, you should disable this add-in and check to see if an update is available. Do you want to disable this add-in?"
