Audio adjustment of MP4 in Presenter changes video resolution

Jul 22, 2016

I have been using this product for the last 7-months and really enjoy working with it. However there is an issue that is bothersome. Video screen captures that I create and publish in Replay and embed in Presenter always present a lower volume than the voice-overs I do to the PPTs, which is not terrible but a bit distracting for my audience. If I use the video editing feature in Presenter to boost the audio level, the video resolution is reduced for that embedded MP4 once I publish the html product. Since these are software screen caps we need the best video resolution available.

Attached is an image of two files from a published course that are identical except that the second one had the volume increased by 100%

This seems like a bug in the software and any help would be most appreciated. Thanks.

Hi, Herman -- Thanks for reaching out here, and unfortunately, I wasn't able to locate a similar issue as having been previously reported to our QA team for investigation, so it'd be great if we were able to check out a few things. Would it be possible to get the stand-alone Replay .MP4 from you?  And also, could you please use the steps listed here to Create an Articulate Package, and send that, as well? If you'd prefer to submit for private review, here is the form you would need to send those materials our way!
