Audio previews but doesn't play when published

Working in Studio 13, Presenter.
We have a 33 screen course that has audio on most screens that we imported through the Articulate tab. The audio on the first screen doesn't play when first viewed. If you navigate past the 1st screen, and then back, the audio plays.
If we put a blank slide in front of the original 1st screen, the audio will play when first viewed. It appears that the problem is in the first screen position.
We have reused the slides in a new file, reimported the audio by deleting, saving, importing and have completely uninstalled Articulate Studio and reinstalled.
We have also tried importing audio files that successfully play in the 1st position in other programs.
Suggestions on what to do next would be greatly appreciated.

So sorry you're running into audio trouble. Is this happening in a particular browser, like Google Chrome?
Google recently changed their media autoplay policy, so you may find that audio on the first slide of your presentation doesn't play automatically. This article explains that policy change and what you can do to get around it.
