We are in the budgeting stages for next year and I am trying to make a case for purchasing Studio '09. Can you tell me what charges I might expect for upgrades after the initial purchase?
Any point release for Studio '09 would be provided free of charge. If we release a new version of Studio, though, that would not be included. You would get a discounted price to upgrade to the newest version but the least expensive way to futureproof your purchase would be to consider the Platinum Membership Plan. This gives you one free upgrade for each year that you sign up. So for exacmple, if you purchased the 3 year plan, you would get the next 3 versions of Studio for the price of the plan. So, for example, if there is a Studio '12, '13, '14 or something like that. Does that make sense?
