Can't open folders containing videos converted by Video Encoder

Oct 24, 2011

Help!!!

I have been trying all afternoon to access the folder on my desktop that contains my encoded .flv files.

Every time I click on the folder, windows explorer crashes.

I've run Articulate Update 8, virus software, registry programs, and everything comes back normal.

I can't figure out what the issue is - please help?

Thanks,

Jennifer

Hi Jennifer,

It sounds like this might be a Windows issue. Is the folder you mention actually on your desktop, with the FLVs inside that folder?

If so, you could use command prompt to move the files to a new location to see if that resolves the issue.

Have a look at this to see how that can be done:

Let me know if the issue still arises, and good luck!
