Can't reinstall

I’ve been having trouble with Presenter and want to reinstall. I’ve done this in the past, and it worked fine, but not today.
I downloaded the exe from the Articulate website, and put it on my desktop. When I try to reinstall, I get a message asking me to specify the location of the file Studio-09-Update-7.exe; the file on my desktop that I downloaded today is 09-Update-8 and the reinstall wizard isn’t recognizing it. I thought maybe I needed to just update my Presenter software, so I used the “Check for Updates” thing in the Presenter add-in ribbon – got a message saying no updates are available. So I’m not sure what to do…

Are you double clicking the Studio-09-Update-8.exe to install? That's how you should install the latest version.
Ok, now I feel silly. So I need to install the Update 8, then do the repair??
Hi Sheila,
If you have Update 7 and you install Update 8, there's no reason to run a repair after the installation. However, if you already have Update 8 installed, you'll need to run the repair. I hope that helps!
